<p>The second <em>Day on the Creek</em> was held in Pincher Creek on May 30, 2018.  Many thanks to the teachers, staff members, students, individuals and organizations who made this day possible!</p>
<p>More than 850 students, teachers, and community members came out to enjoy the day,  experiencing and learning about the environment and human history along the creek.</p>
<p>A total of 81 sessions were held for 34 classes from Kindergarten to Grade 12 at 17 different stations along the creek and 3 off-site locations, plus there were 3 ongoing drop-in activities.  More than 70 presenters and volunteers from the community and 17 organizations came out to engage with students and the public along the creek.</p>
<p>The event was hosted by the Waterton Biosphere Reserve Association (WBRA), <a href="https://www.albertaparks.ca/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Alberta Parks</a>, <a href="http://www.pinchercreek.ca/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Town of Pincher Creek</a>, and <a href="http://www.lrsd.ca/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Livingstone Range School Division.</a> We would like to recognize our 2018 event sponsor <a href="https://www.shell.ca/en_ca/sustainability/communities.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Shell Canada</a> and also the <a href="http://www.abcee.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"> Alberta Council for Environmental Education </a>for the <em>Get Outside and Play Grant</em>.</p>

<p>A unique outdoor learning experience for students, parents, teachers and the general public to learn more about the environment and human history along Pincher Creek and the importance of watershed stewardship.  Everyone is welcome to attend for all or part of the day !</p>
<p><strong>DATE:</strong> Wednesday May 24<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">th, 2017</span></p>
<p><strong>TIME</strong>: 9am to 3pm</p>
<p><strong>Place:</strong>  Along the creek path all the way from the Recreation Centre to the Ag Grounds.  See map for full details.</p>
<p><strong>What to bring:</strong> This event will run rain or shine so DRESS FOR THE WEATHER.  Bring your own water and snacks for a picnic along the creek.</p>
